Being told you can get your first pair of pointe shoes is very exciting but understandably you or your parents may have some reservations about pointe work.  Having a correctly fitted pair of shoes is key.  This can mean the difference between enjoying pointe work or dreading it each week.  A good fit of pointe shoes will also reduce the risk of injury.

 

Our staff in store are all trained to fit pointe shoes and we stock a range of styles from different brands.  

 

Although we can advise what shoe we think works best, only the dancer can tell what their feet are doing inside the shoe.  We are happy for teachers to come along to fittings too.
